It's been unusually warm and the bees have been flying a lot. I poped the tops on the hives yesterday for a peek. There's lots of activity. Still lots of sugar left on top of the hives.
It's supposed to be the coldest of the season this coming week. I have done all I can think of for them. They should be ok.
On a side note, we had over 5 inches of rain last week. Lots of piers and docks underwater on Watts Bar Lake. We had some puddles, and the ground is mushy, but it should dry out this week with lots of sunshine.
Spring should be right around the corner. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a good year!
